Welcome to Librarium Online!
I happened to inherit a friend's well painted night goblin character on giant squig. I love how it looks and want to run it in my future games (haven't played any 8th ed OnG yet). What's the best 8th build for Lord/Hero night gobbo on squig? Are any of the magic items in the new book worth it?
I think he would serve best as a cheap hero choice, with only some cheap common magic items such as the charmed shield (if still available) or a I.10 sword. perhaps the ruby ring of ruin..
This way his wounds go up from 2 to 3 and he will remain expendable.
ItP makes him a nice solo flanker, just like pump wagons. but this guy has 3d6 move and can re-roll them.
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
I reckon he's best served as a character who eliminates war machines and light flanking units, but you don't want to sink a lot of points into him. Perhaps a 20-30 magic weapon, some armour (enchanted shield, mayhaps) and then just let him bounce along, wiping out stuff!
