Hi fellow greenskins
Im am pretty new to the orc army, and I started to thinks.
There are alot of cool Lords in the Orc and Goblin army, amongst them are Grimgor, Gorbad and Azag. I have heard people talking about using either Grimgor or Gorbad in different situations, but the real cool once (Azag and the lord on the Whym) are never mentioned. Why is that? Can someone plz tell me why there are lords thats never used, (apart from the points beeing to high for low points games).
I think Azhag is TOO expensive for what he brings to the table. A lot of greenskin players think like this, and thus have stopped taking him on (semi)competitive lists. It doesn't mean you can't try to play him, but if your meta-game environment is choke-full of cannons or lobbas, then you're going to be disappointed when he gets killed on turn one.
Other than that, some other people DON'T like to play with named Lords / Heroes. That's just personal preference IMHO. Although I've heard that some communities have banned the special characters altogether in their games.
Go ahead and try it if you like. Or just proxy the beautiful model that is Azhag as a "vanilla" lord on Wyvern.
i'm in one of those ommunities that doesnt allow special characters. I do use azhag as a normal boss and he looks awesome on table
I wish i had him in resin though, the metal one is way too heavy for all those weak parts.
I think the cheap characters are easier to field because they dont bite a chunk out of your points. as fun as a wyvern can be, it doesnt fit the general tactics greenskins use.
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
Azhag looks amazing, but I don't like it how he was killed off in the fluff
