I have been running a league with 5 players in over the last couple of weeks (there are a couple of reports in the battle report section), I have my last game on Sunday versus the wood elves and I wanted some advice on my army list. In the past I have been infuriated by the way my opponent always sits off and shoots me so I came up with this:
Black orc warboss
Axe of the last waagh
talisman of protection
Black orc big boss
13 savage orc boar boyz (big uns) with banner of butchery and boss. Also contains the general and battle standard bearer
3 units of 15 savage orc boar boyz with spears, warpaint, standards, bosses.
3 units of 7 wolfboyz
I know there is no magic in there but I am aiming to sacrifice that for the ability to move up the field quickly and engage and kill everything I see. If he has wardancers and dryads they are toast, and if he has loads of archers he would have to wipe out units as he can't cause a panic test due to frenzy so I will still get to him.
I am ahead of him on points at the moment and I doubt he will expect anything quite so aggressive, critique appreciated

The battleaxe of last waaagh seems a bit overkill. You can kill the wood elves without it, really. Maybe make him a normal black orc big boss with a great weapon and add another unit?
I was tempted to not have the axe of the last waagh and give the warboss slightly more protection. The whole theme of the army is overkill though, my opponent tend to use loads of dryads and loads of archers so I need to be able to pulverise both.

Just to tell you orc cavalry isnt the best vs wood elves. All it takes is a great eagle b ehind your boar boyz and your getting shot up every turn with only a 3+ save(seems good but you will fail it eventually). Once your stuck moving 7 inches a turn magic will absolutely massacre you. The wolf riders might make it but he will probably intercept them with glade riders, who should win the combat,or simply fire arrows in to them and panic them off the board with their LD6. A better bet would be a simple horde army with alot of fast cav for patrolling your lines. He wont be able to stop a 150+ models slamming into his army. Also, take lots of magic. Wood elves hate enemy magic, lords they can deal with though.
My opinion? post it in the armylist section.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel allright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace, and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
Goblin kroozade of revengyness: win:19 draw:10 loss:9
this is in the army list section
any way its an interesting list
until the cavalry hit home he will have the advantage
but when they hit all hell will break lose
DONT just charge with out support expialy if he fields a treeman or your up ***** creek with out a paddle
any way as for the BOBB BSB he cant have a spear as he has a banner
so this means that you have a few spare points and i reconand increacing the size of the wolf riders there far to small for against WEs
thats my bit for the minite
Yes people i know that my spelling and punctuation is awful but I am product of British teaching pollicies so what can I do about it?
Nice hard and fast list, the only thing I would recommend is possibly dropping a unit of goblin wolf riders and adding in 2 spear chukkas to take out big things / multiple wound targets. Everything else seems fine, as long as you expect to be zapped in the magic phase!
I'd also swap the axe for axe of bashin' so that you get +2 attacks instead of +1d6, upgrade the talisman to the best big boss 'at.
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.
Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.

I would crush those puny, little wimpy elves with massez o' boyz. What is a normal boy, like 7 points? A block of 25 with command is about 200 points then, yeah? 6 blocks of them and then you still have 800 points left for heroes and specialialities. I might take one shaman, just for a little protection.
But for the sake of Gork, Mork, and Bork, SMASH THOSE FLIGHTY POINT EARS!
For the record, wood elves are not related to dark elves AT ALL.
He is the forsaken. An error found in the world, and its weight resting on the shoulders of one being. Know must he walk in shadow, the dark rose.
I would really be interested to see how this list does.
It looks like if the wood elf players is intelligent and bounces eagles around making you do crappy charges you would get screwed pretty easily. But, if he doesn't and tries to just sit back he get murdered. The only thing really stopping you is if he uses lots of trees and magic to move those trees where he wants.

We get orgasms cause thats 30 whole seconds god doesn't have to listen to us bitch.
if hes using dryads ( wich is smart! you'll get to charge him no problem but he's gonna say hey buddy, you mind needing 6s to hit even if you pass that fear test?
and next turn the wardancers come in with killing blow or +1S....
Go with mobz o boyz... wood elves have quality, wich orkz can't compete with, but you got the power of the WAAGHING ordes.
