I'm starting my Orc and gobbo army with my birthday in february.

i'm not going to make ann all-goobo army cause that's much tpoo expensive for me.

But i''l probably put an nighg goblin regiment in.Fanatics are sooo fun.

On another forum, people made really good shopping lists.
With things in the order of what you really need in an army.

Could you people make such a thing??

Is the bataillon any good??Cause it's cheap.

The battalion box is good, the only thing that I haven't used in it are the orc archers... but I am thinking on how to convert them into orcs with choppas and shields as we speak!

That list that you posted in the 'Starting O&G' thread is good for a start, I'd probably not get the savage orcs, just get a box of regular orcs to get your numbers up and the two boxes of night gobbos + 2 blisters of fanatics. Don't forget your shamans and lords too, the gobbo shamans are great, as you get both night goblin and common goblin versions in one pack!
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.

Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.

If you are looking for cheap, look at the Warhammer starter set for $75. It has every thing the battalion box has except for the wolf riders, plus the cool terrain, Empire units, rule book, etc. Even better if you can find someone that likes Empire to split it with then you can use the money to pick up that wolf rider box!

Based off of your post I would recommend the following as a possible start to an army:

1 blister of Night Gobbo Shamans
2x Box of night gobbos
1 blister of fanatics
2 blisters of netters
starter (either the battalion box or as I described above but don't skip the wolfies)
2x spear chukkas
tooled up with command and toys for the heros that is about 1000pts for $208 retail.

Beyond that, play and figure out what is fun for you then add it. If you have a more specific theme in mind or units that you like the looks of that would help make suggestions. You could also read the starter thread for ideas. Orcs and Goblins are so varied its hard to be more specific.

Liono , everybody in my neighboorhoud thinks the empire looks really bad.
And I like wolf riders

I don't buy netters, because I can just as easily convert them, and my night goblins will be shot mostly I think.

I think I'll buy this:

Bataillon nox
1 orc regiment
2 night goblin boxes
2 fanatics blisters
1 goblin shaman blister

Total:116 figures

That will be about 2 months of painting me thinks.

I'll post an army list soon
