i do apologise if this is in the wrong place.

i was looking at the squig models in the army book and realised they are really simple models and instead of spending small fortune on loads of blisters i was thinking of making them from green stuff.
i was thinking of making them by
    rolling out the basic shape,
    indenting the feet for claws
using a saurus shield to imprint scales into its back and using a squig model to push into the green stuff for the face,
this will be my first attempt at making models from green stuff, do you think it would work or can you think of any other better ways to do it
    all advice welcome

Exactly how do you mean? Don't think it will work..

Making all your squigs out of greenstuff can be done, but it will be timeconsuming! And it won't be easy to get those teeth right if you're not good with greenstuff.

Article on making squigs, not finished though: http://www.freewebs.com/sloory/modeling.htm

Squigs are a pretty basic model... but your gonna need a lot of green stuff, or a similar putty. If you want to do it more power to you... but you may want to look into buying squigs off Ebay if your looking to save cash, probaby may even be cheaper. As for the herders and hopper, you can use standard Night Gobo's for herders and convert the hoppers if you really want to.

There's a good way to save up on greenstuff. Have the basic of the squig a round ball made of material of your choice instead of greenstuff. It won't show anyway.
    Marbles come to mind.
