Welcome to Librarium Online!
This ain't realy a battle report, its more like a story, but its so funny that i decided to tell it here.
I was playing against orcs and goblins, 1500 pts battle. My opponents was quite unknowing about vampire counts and was foolish enough to deploy a LOT of fanatics. What he didn't know was that my necromancers had the ability to summon zombies in front of his goblins at turn 1. The spell went of and eight zombies emerged from the ground, a bunch of fanatics was sent out against them (they don't even have a choise) and the zombies were killed, but thereafter the fanatics crushed trough his own ranks and totaly destroyed his army before he had advanced long enough to face me. The only thing that survived the crazed fanatics was a unit of black orcs and remaining parts of some regular orc units, quite funny i would say.
I learned something from this battle. If you face an orcs and goblins player, make sure to have enough necromancers with the "invocation of nehek" spell.
If zombies always strike last, what happens if you just don't attack them?
I play both goblins and vampire counts, and i know that fanatics are always a laugh to play against/with. Looks like your opponent had astoundingly bad luck with the fanatics tearing up his whole army . Good tactic using your necromancer.
Nothing a Battle Cannon Couldnt fix
