I wanted to start 'em night gobbos. They're so fun to paint, I thought I'd do a whole army!
General : Night Goblin Big Boss
201 Night Goblins
201 Night Goblins
201 Night Goblins
Total : 2000 exactly!
Wow ! What a army, have you painted it All?
I think that your army has quite a lack of leadership and your big boss only has a shield.
I think you should split the units up cause 200 goblins in 1 unit Dam thats big, i love the shortbows , then you can have tons of shots going off!!
Yet no fanatics, i love it!
PS welcome to the librarium online, there are many helpful guys on this board, good Luck!
"Fight like gobbos"- Skarsnik
How do you plan on setting them? they don't fit in the deployment zone!!!
in any kind of formation too
If someone gets a flank charge, wel you loose your ranks. try and make blocks of 80, and get some chariots to support.
Great theme ^_^
put them in blocks of 30 - 40 would be my advice, blocks of two hundred are going to be impossible to manouvre
your brave, you also need more shamans/lords, and some wolf cavalry.
A few special choices, chariots squid herder etc.
Dont lose the six hundred night gobbos but definetly get rid of the 50 netters per squad, gobbos dont kill much but rely on resolution to win, i would suggest max of five a unit.
add some of these extra units and you will have a goblin horde to be proud off.
check out wicked_rocks goblin guide in the warhammer tactica section, it'l give you invaluable advice.
and if you have painted 600 goblins i have two things to say
1. Well done mate thats an accomplishment to be proud of
2 Can i have a loan? lol
WELL SAID, NO MORE SQUATS THEY ARE DEAD GET OVER ITOriginally Posted by artificer
Well, I get the cost to around 6500 SEK (870 USD), so that's a very expensive army! Smaller units and add some kind of units that specialize at other stuff, such as chariots, wolves, squigs etc.
I will believe you have this army when you actually take a picture of it... until then no advice. I'm a Night Goblin player... but man would i love to watch a cannon ball fly through the ranks!
40K-Beakies(9-14-4),Guard(4-7-2),Orks(34-12-11). FANTASY-Dwarves(15-6-7),Beasts (14-14-1), Skaven (17-17-10) DoC (6-1-2). CYGNAR (28-15-1)
i would love to see curse of the years on one of them unitsOriginally posted by MouseC112@Feb 26 2005, 17:39

i like the theme its great but when it comes down to game terms you know you need that magic defence, hard hitters and smaller units :/ i would deffinetly recommend chariots, i take 6 of them in my wolf riders army and they are the game winners, especially with 2 big bosses with great weapons riding in them
if you have painted them i would like to ask how long it took you? as thats a hell of alot and i struggle painting 200 let alone 600 any advice/tips to speed painting them to a decent quality?
201 goblins will break to a squad of minotaurs or knights just as easily as a squad of 20. The only regiments worth making over 25 imo are troops meant to die and units alot of shooting will be pumped into. Considering you only have 3 units, meaning that 1 dead unit could make or break a game,i dont think your goblins are very expendible.
