Well, taking an all gobbo army with orc heroes wouldn't be very fluffy, and you would be seen as cheesy.

I think laying both orcs and gobbos brings more balance, and more fun.

While all orcs, you would play the Ardboyz army list, why is very competitive, and gives you a better chance at victories.

Go more what your inner Waaaagggghhhh tells you to do.

Both, definitely.

I like playing my O&Gs like I believe they were designed to - ie. Goblins are expendable and support troops while Orcs are the main weapon of the horde.

Do as you'd see fit your playstyle the best ... but I recommend using both.

Definitely both, the army is called "Orcs & Goblins" after all The different types of units can be used very effectively together. Big blocks of orcy boyz with gobbo fast cavalry running around works a treat.

ok but say i choose both would 3 units of night gobbos be good to start ?

i coild make 2 units of 30 out of that then give em fanatics

would that be a good start considering i prefer gobs and would like to just use the orcs to support

I treat orcs and goblins as two separate armies really. I started playing with gobbo's and now as I paint the bigger things in my horde I'm playing orcs only. The plan is though to eventually combine them into one huge green throng!
