Welcome to Librarium Online!
G'day my fine lords and ladies; I hereby present this thread to you all for use in the playing of Orcs and Goblins. This is to be used in whatever way you all seem fit but the idea I have behind this is...
A tactica type thing. All generals are welcome to post here any tips, tactics, unit break downs, do and don't of the armies, army themes, colour schemes, conversions and all list break downs (note - not army lists but maybe a skeleton list used to build off etc)
Well that's the idea, I hope it works. I will be watching these and any abuse of thread or things I decide that are not to be in here will be deleted without warning.
I am trying to draft an army to play in a tournament in a week or so, and it has to be balanced enough to play 4 games against different opponents (likely to be wood elves, tomb kings, beasts of chaos and empire). My problem is that in most leagues I play in you write a different army for each game, so I can chop and change units in and out.
I am tempted to go for some solid blocks of infantry (black orcs, some boyz, maybe some savage orc boyz cos they are fun) and support this with some spearchukkas. I was then going to chuck in a unit of boarboyz (maybe even savage orc boarboyz) to break a hole in my opponents line, maybe a chariot to support their charge.
Characters are likely to consist of a black orc warboss with a couple of shamans for magical defence.
I am open to suggestions
