A squig is a savage critter that lives in caves and night goblin herd them and use them in battle. Some crazy night gobbos even ride them into battle. THe awesome part is the fact that a squig gets 2 strength 5 attacks. The funny part is if enough of the handlers die the unit flies apart and squigs go rampaging across the field at random jumping on units and biting them.

The squig bomb is a tired and tested tactic, wherein you make a squig herd designed to flee/lose too many gobbos, so that the squigs become loose and completely mess up your opponent's plans by getting in the way and simply eating his units. The trick is to make sure it doesn't go off too early, or it's your plans down the crapper.

Then there is the world of squig hoppers where you can direct which direction the squig bounces, they are wonderful little creatures as long as you don't accidentally make them go pop! I have had great result not using the unit as a squig bomb, but as a delivery for 4 hoppers. Considering you cannot engage the hoppers and they simply bound off again, its a easy way to pick off a few figures if your lucky, if have some laughs if your unlucky

squigs like orks come from, or at least live in and near underground mushrooms, the best part about squigs is that they can absolutlry mangle enemies, 2 str 5 attacks means are at -1 or -2 armor save, when you conider that almost ever creature of there base size only one attack, you really see thier brutal eficientcy
