hi there.. i've thought of starting a night goblin army.. mainly because i love their models, they should be damn fun to play, and i miss some (fun?) shooting phase (im playing VC and chaos mortals .. )
im going to buy the book soon, but not to waste money, i thought that some of you maybe could tell me a bit of the units the green horde have,,,, mainly thinking of the doom diver, fanatics, squigs, netters and spear chukka...
if this is against the rules of the forum, i apologize..
I don't care much for the netters. I just don't think they are useful. The models look sweet though. Squigs fit the orcs & goblins well with the random could help big or hurt big mentality. Same for the war machines. The doom diver I like, although I never hit anything with it. The model is awesome and who doesn't like the thought of hangglinding gobbos. The problem is there is no template. You just have to hit a unit. So against rule mongers with skirmishing units its no good at all. But it can do a number on knights and heavy armoured stuff if you hit.
I'm not sure but isn't there goin to be a new army book for O&G? Therefore, if I'm right, dont buy one.
yeah wait till the new book, you can run wood goblins. THey should hate wood elfs, if they dont well then thats bull sheeet
night goblins are friggin hillarious!! Its always fun to let loose a bunch of fanatics and then watch in horror as they plow through the enemy and then come back towards your own lines. I'd stay away from the doom diver though, better to save the rare slots for giants or trolls. If your looking for an army thats fun to play but not always tactically sound. Give night gobbos a go.
Mmmmm...Snotlings... good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!!
What's your source on this wood gobllins bit?yeah wait till the new book, you can run wood goblins
