i was wondering wiether my using of squigs as musicians in the night goblin units is a good idea fluff wise. as the way i see it the squigs are the same as the musicians but instead of working of the morale of the troops it growls and eats a goblin, which in turn makes the goblins braver as they are afraid of bing eaten by the little mushroom thing. of course i would not use the extra attacks and strength that a squig gets it would be the same as a goblin game wise but for the fluff wise it makes more sense for the goblins to be threatened by the boss goblin and his pet to get in line or be eaten.

i wouldn't cus there is no way the squig wouldn't just eat the entire unit whether it needed it or not also hard to make him fit

On the same thread, why not use a squig herder, the one with the squig pipe? It's a goblin, and you also get an unusual musical instrument.

thats not a bad idea and the concept of scottish gobbos comes to mind as well (might gobbos wearing kilts with half their face painted blue and shouting freedom)

i agree the one with the flute would look cool
but you may want to kinda have a theme to you army for that to happen

Yeah, it might be out of place in a standard army, unless you already have explanations for scotish night goblins? Dwarfs rub off on him? Or is he mocking them?

Well, dwarves and night gobbos do hate each other because they live in the same caves...maybe they have the same accents and clothing ideas as well

yeah well the dwarfs got kicked outa their lair for soo long that at least one tribe should have been able to plunder a couple of armourys by now.

i think the squiq could still look good, if it was on a lead to the boss it would make the boss look meaner, it doesn't have to be a musician.
