I prefer the normal Orcs. they van wear armour, for one, which is an important part of heavy cavalry. Also, having absolutely no control over whether or not your M7 unit charges can result in your Savages wasting a lot of time chasing skirmishers.

Well, there isn't nothing heavy about orc cavalry!

The savage orc big uns are pretty devasting with a waaagh banner or banner of butchery.

Also the boar boys is the orciest unit in the army IMO, they really are do or die.

i generallyuse normal boar boyz as i find they generally do better in battles then there savage cousins but that could just be because of the way i play with them.

I couldn't figure out what you meant with this double negative. So it's hard to interpret your post.

it's a very sneaky elflike post meant to test the wits of the upcoming highly cunning orcses generals... yes.. yes...

Well it's simple: don't use them as heavy cavalry, because they aren't. they don't take anything over S3 too well (even then, 3+ save isn't anything to write home about.) and they can very well miss the Q (animosity anyone?)

I mainly use them for the 3d6 pursuit, and they can also flee from charges with these.

They can always help a weaker flank, or get skirmishers out of my Waaagh!'s way. They end up being more tactical than practical (Cunning Orcses I tell you!)

    I get it. :w00t:

I can see that 3+ isn't magnificent. But it's better than 5+ for the savage orcs isn't it? But then the Savages get frenzy. But, they can't flee from charges like the Common orcs.

savage orks get a 5+ armour but then gets a 6+ ward and while not eyepopping a second save is always a good thing

You have to buy the ward. It doesn't come with.
