In all your games, what has been your most sucessfull unit? I doesnt have to be the one who has butchered the most enemies, just the one you think has made the most "positive" diffrence in the battles, or has been very fun to play with. Or has just screwed up so badly game after game that you just gotta tell about it....
wellwhen i played a mega battle (reason that i now like em) i had two units of goobos who failed some test and proceded to butcher each other
I once had chariots charge my oponents flank and end up routing the entire army. But that's what the silly elf git gets for putting the whole army in a single firing line.
Black orcs are definitly a positive force in an O&G army. Great weapon selection, give 'em a great weapon and shield, and they become very flexible gits. not suffering from animosity and harbouring higher leadership, you gotta love them.
Savage orc boar boy biguns :w00t: Especially with the banner of butchery. Wind em up and let them go, and then watch them murderise whatever they hit.
Also I have so much love for wolf riders, they are so flexible and bloody quick.
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
For my own part, its the wolfchariots. Just put two next to each other and charge anything within 18". And they cost just 120 points and take one spec.choice..... They really helped my at a local-store tourny.
As a frequent orc opponent, I have to say that this unit gives me the most headaches. I've designed armies around it. Of course, having designed an army around it (chaos w/ hounds) it is rather easy to lead around by the nose, but boy is it nasty if you aren't expecting it.Originally Posted by Lurch
Honorable mention goes to the (ig)noble night goblin fanatic. Units with these, especially complemented with mad cap mushrooms, have ruined my day as elves and bretonnians frequently. Again, easy to deal with if anticipated (hounds again), but can really hurt if I forget about them.
