    new animosity

ok i just wanted to check something...
the new animosity rules, it says units of fewer than 5 models dont have to test...
so would this mean that squigs now count to this number? so if i have those squads of squigs theyd still have to test?
i know with the last book it said that only orc and goblin models count...

by how it reads yes squigs pack units are now taking animosity checks. Squig hoppers if currently 5 or greater will also check.

Squig hoppers don't have animosity as a special rule by the look of it so shouldn't have to test. I think this is because the night gobbo has very little control over the squig and they just bounce around.

Aye, I'd imagine that the gobbos are too busy getting not eaten to squabble. However, there's nothing saying they don't, so I guess this one is up in the air at the moment.

Animosity is an army special rule, which lists the exceptions from itself explicitly, and does not exempt units with squigs in them. Therefore, the rule applies to both squig herds and squig hoppers.

Besides, being bound by Animosity means they are also affected by the new WAAAGH! rule, and that much more likely to get to charge! :w00t:

    You are correct.

Animosity as become very dangerous to quell. Those black orcs can wipe out a whole rank of bashed skulls, wich can be a problem late game.
