I have a quick question, in the new orc and goblin book the greenskins can no longer use dogs of war. Does this mean they are now no longer allowed to use Rugluds unit in the greenskin army? It would be a crying shame if they weren't as I think they are a brilliant unit and have about 14 of them.
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
Rumor mill is the reason the DOW entry was omitted is that it will be omitted from future army books as well. Of course we will only be able to tell this when Empire is released. I've been using my DOW units as opponents consent for now until someone somewhere releases a real interpretation. There is also the listing online on GW online that breaks down who can use what, so its kinda redundant to list it in the army books.
However, for now i would stick with opponents consent until an official ruling is out
40K-Beakies(9-14-4),Guard(4-7-2),Orks(34-12-11). FANTASY-Dwarves(15-6-7),Beasts (14-14-1), Skaven (17-17-10) DoC (6-1-2). CYGNAR (28-15-1)
DOW have been removed from the empire book but you can still use DOW but instead of it being a rare slot item you now follow what is written in the entry for the specified DOW unit. in this case O&G can still use Rugland's as a special where other armies use the same as a rare.
All will be cleared up with the DOW army book when/if released.
