Hi all, i have a quick question for all you experts regarding the new orc Army Book. In the magic section it says that orc shaman have access to the Big Waaagh spell list, Now I use Army builder v3 and when I add an orc shaman to my list it only lets me take the Little Waagh.
The only way around this is to take a lvl 3-4 shaman, so my question is, Which is right? Should I ignore AB and take my lvl 2 shaman with the Big Waaagh or did I read my Army Book wrong?
Thanks all for any replies

I'm not an expert on the O&G rules but always trust your army book over army builder. The book has the rules to play your army, army builder is just a tool to help design lists, and as far as I know its full of mistakes. I don't have the army book but I think that Orc shamans have the big waaagh! while the gobbos have the little waaagh!,so yes your Orc shaman may use the Big Waaagh! whatever level he is.
I think that's right anyway (Can't be sure, not having the army book)
Bottom line is, always folow your army book.
Thou shalt remember:
Warhammer Fantasy armies do NOT have Codices. They have Army Books.

OK, Thanks very much for the advice, untill i hear differently ill give him the Big Waaagh.
Army builder is wrong there.
Orc shamans get the Big Waaagh at levels 1, 2, 3&4 and never get the little waaagh.
Gobbos shamans get the little waaagh at levels 1, 2, 3&4 and never get the Big Waaagh.
Army builder also has the point cost of a magic item wrong, but I can't remember which one it is.
Fast is the only way to be.
The army builder is also missing most of the the updates that would have taken place in the new edition. Its still using the old edition magic rules for O&G. Remember that Lv 1 or 2's could only take Little Waagh and 3's and 4's the big from the old edition?
40K-Beakies(9-14-4),Guard(4-7-2),Orks(34-12-11). FANTASY-Dwarves(15-6-7),Beasts (14-14-1), Skaven (17-17-10) DoC (6-1-2). CYGNAR (28-15-1)
Mouse is correct. Under the last orc and goblin book both goblins and orcs had access to big and little waagh depending on their level. Now it is much simpler, orcs = big waagh whereas gobbos = little waagh.
Your army builder is out of date, you could try the old fashioned way with a piece of paper and a pen

It's also important to note that while the names are the same, the spells on the little and big Waaagh! lists have been changed in the new version, so that both are fully flexible lists. If left the way they were, Orcs wouldn't have any low-key basic spells available to them, since the big Waaagh was intended for orcs who had access to the little Waaagh as well. So make sure you're using the spell lists out of your book and not off the builder.
