I am starting my O&G Army again after a break from the 4th Edition. I just acquired several army books (Vampire, Lizardmen, Beasts of Chaos, Dark Elves and O&G) for the 7th Edition.
As I was browsing thru the magic items, I notice that the for the same common magic items (namely Sword of Striking, Sword of Battle and Sword of Might and Biting Blade) for the O&G Army is half the costs compared to the rest of the Armies. Is this intentional or is this an error?

No its not an error, is because orc can get/stole those items pretty easily that they're so cheap (well that what I think).
I think empire too have cheap items.
This is correct, if you look at different army books the cost for "common" magic items is now being adjusted to reflect the ease of some armies being able to acquire these items. The enchanted shield is different in some lists as well. This is something i picked up on and compared it in a few books.
