When the fanatics get out of the unit, is it necessary to choose their direction before rolling the dices for their movement, or is it possibile to roll then choose the direction ?
I've always used to choose direction then roll, but a guy at the local store does the opposite, and in the Italian Book there's no explanation about this. Maybe it was a bad translation, how does their initial movement works in the english\us book ?
When fanatics are released from their unit, you can choose which direction they go (so just roll 2D6 and this is how far they move in inches)
so choose, then roll

Its choose then roll, otherwise you could be disctinctly dishonest with how you move fanatics.
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
It didn't really made much sense, even though the codex was not clear.
Goblin chief: How long are you going to radomly-travel?
Fanatic: I'll randomly move by....9" !
Goblin chief: Cool! Then move in that direction!!!1!!12
Thanx a lot!
It would really be unsportsmanlike if you could roll then decide. I could just imagine what the reaction would be on your oppoenent's face..."Let's see, here's my roll. Wow! 12"! Let's see...hmmm...why not go after that unit over by the table edge with your general, and 4 RnF models..." Not cool...
Let the false gods burn!
