    Da WAAAGH...might need some improvement

I am looking for feedback on a list that I am working on. I have looked at the tactica regarding nobz v meganobz and I do think meganobz do pack a lot of punch for a cheaper price. I know that the nobz are also useful, but I think cheaper points might take a bigger priority in an ork army. Especially when those cheaper meganobz come with powerklawz and a +2 save. I am certain their lack of a bosspole can be resolved by sticking a IC in the group. I could remove the kombi skorchas to put kannons on the battlewagons, but I am not sure how useful and snap firing krak round really is. The Big mek will either use his forcefield to protect the lootas or one of the battlewagons. Not many people might be fond of using giant hordes of boyz, but, after I game I had against the Crimson Fists, the big melee brawl that occurred and lasted for most of the game was awesome.

Make one of the meganob units troops, your warboss allows this

Drop the meks from the lootas, different range, worse gun, no thanks

You desperately need some more AT here, why not drop one of the smaller boyz squads and take a large number of kannons? Relying on lootas and deff rollas just doesnt cut it at this points level

Yah, I am curious as to why meks are even included in the squad due to the very distinct weapon difference.

Is this an adequate step in the right direction?

    Yeah like it..

see if you can squeeze some extra crew and ammo runts onto those kannons, but much better all around list. You will find some people who dont like walking sluggas, but I kinda like them in big mobs.

Dropping one Grot let's you drop one Runtie and save 13pts with which you could add some ammo rungs or Gunz crew.
If you can find pts, add combi-skorchas to your boss and Meganobz (skorchas on overwatch = pwnage)

My optimism for the footslogging army has dropped since i realized my opponents use things such as land raider redeemers, hellhounds, earthshaker batteries, etc. What is the best way to deal with these besides spreading out the mobs the full 2 inches needed for unit coherency?

Especially since one of my opponents uses guardsmen with chaos daemon allies. He has a trick in which he uses a slaneeshi power to move my units into a giant closed blob and bombard them artillery and hellhounds. He did this to a combined guardsman squad and killed 95% of the unit on turn one...my orks might be horribly screwed if i don't mechanize them....
