about making marine packs look orky... hmm well i guess you could glue lots of spiky bitz to it, make it look killy. put some Ork glyphs on it maybe, no pictures from me though. Got no camera =(

try to convert some little Ork skull glyph looking things and put them on it, or some Lightning Bolt Glyphs for Fast attack

May not quite have the authenticity you want, but I had an amusingly Orky Stormboyz conversion idea yesterday:

Take the little plastic piece that connects four small round bases, take off the bases, and attach it to the back of an Ork (maybe with some small engine looking bits or wires).

I came across this idea when I was modding the Black Reach Deffkoptas. I took the rotor blades and moved them to the back of the model by clipping the curved exhaust pipes so that the top one worked as a mounting point. Then when I was looking at the bare nub where the rotor blades are supposed to be, I happened to have a round-base plastic connector and realized it looked like a small propeller. I'll try to post pics of this simple, yet effective mod soon.

As above mentioned, the idea of little portable helicopters for the stormboys is beautiful! I'd attach a much smaller rotor though made from plasticard scraps.
