I wondered if any of you guys have got any experiance playing with these masive creatures. If so,how does it go? Is it worth the points and does it work best in a army full of vehicels? Is it worth my dishing out 200 pounds and buying one?

I have had them used aganist me and I think next to BA Death Company, its the unit I hate most. Fully 1/3 of my Elday army had to concentrate fire on that thing to stop it and it still took me three turns. Maybe some bad die rolling on my side hurt a little too. The whole time I was firing at it, the orks it was carrying harrassed me with big shoota fire. As for spending 200 pounds to buy one? Let me say that I didnt pay that much for my wife. Get yourself a decent triceratops model from a local toy store and do some converting. Way cheaper.

If i do it im bgoing to get the FW one, i just love the model to much. Which IA is it in? If anyone has one how has it done in battle for you, how many points do you use it in? How fast is it brought down?

you can find the rules for it in IA update 2004 the rules for it seem decent enough though it could use some minor tweaking to it the model itself is great though |

I myself use a giant frilled lizard as my enormous squiggoth and in battle it does great! My slugga boyz ride in it, firing out of the howdah for 2 turns as the beast just draws every big gun on the table!! If it does into close combat (its main purpose is to provide cover and a ride for my slugga boys and mega armoured warboss for a few turns and unloading them before it dies), it takes a while to kill large units but rocks at anti-tank! My one is quite hard to measure from as it has no actual base to speak of. Keep smilin'!
