Everyone says squigs are essential in an ork army but what are they? Do they count as just normal units tat kan form a mob? Or are they like wargear and they just tag along wit a warboss or sumthing?

They are the orkish versions of hounds. see the tactica the Chaosbrynn has posted in the articles section for various uses and rules sets.
