    Gunwagon?

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience using a forgeworld gunwagon? How many guys can they carry? I've heard 5 or 10.

Are they worth the points? They look like just the thing for a bit of extra firepower and transportation goodness for small squads like burna boyz or tankbustaz.

I don't want to go out and buy a whole forgeworld book (which I'll have to order from the UK) if they aren't worth it. The reason I'm thinking about it is they seem like something that should have always been in the ork list, (an armoured truck with a big gun on it!) and they're tournament legal in most aussie battles.

five or six guns? Must be a nice wagon. The forgeworld rules are pretty much identical to the ones from the Armaggedon codex. In the forgeworld book there is a listing for the battle fortress which can bring 3 big guns-lobba, zzap, kannon. They come in squads of 3 and i've had some fun with them in the past.

The gunwagon is a stopgap between the trukk and the battlewagon. It is similar to the chimera, has a single weapon and is only slightly cheaper in points than the battlewagon. I scratch built a few out of bits and used the forgeworld rules for a while but found that they weren't that good. I am now in the process of bulking them up, adding some more guns/wheels and turning them into battlewagons for my kult of speed.
If you drop a shell on your foot an it don't urt, your shoota aint big enough!
