Hey buddy, welcome to Librarium Online!

Don't forget that most of the weapons a gang carries in will be of the basic variety, with only a small save modifier (this changes somewhat towards the end of a campaign). In this case the armour is of some value, albeit not a great deal unless you go for the more expensive stuff (if you can find it). Against big, scary weapons it is often of no use at all, but thats how its meant to be - big weapons own perosnal body armour:yes:.

In general, armour does not have that big an impact on Necromunda. Its meant to be that way - it is gang warfare after all. Its not about high-tech soldiers engaging in a tactical manner, its about cutthroat gangs using old, beaten-up equipment to carve an existence out for themselves in the Underhive. If you can get your hands on some armour you can give it to a gang member you really want to survive, but don't expect it to save you in the way power armour saves marines in 40k - it just doesn't work that way in Necromunda.

    Hope it helped mate.

No, for your information, rp252 is lonely because he is hideous
Behind his ugly bloodthirster face, there's some wisdom stored away for moments like this.
