Seems like a good base on which to start a fleet - a carrier, some good firepower, long ranged weaponry, some torpedoes (though not many). That should give you a good start from which to build and a decent fleet with which to learn the game.
A few things to be aware of:
- If you're using the Infidel on its own beward; escorts don't function so well alone. It might be best to use it with the iconoclasts until you buy him some Infidel buddies (a great next purchase IMO).
- Cruiser clash - its a great way to learn the game. You only have one cruiser that can 'legally' play in that scenario. It won't matter with most people as you can just substitute some escorts for cruiser or abandon (or raise) the maximum point limit. Some people might have a problem with it though, so just be aware.
Another box of cruisers and some more escorts would be a great way to go next if you're looking to expand the fleet. What did you have in mind?
Good balanced start what kind of fleet do you want? or better question what do you want it to do right now you can go many ways all of which work and Chaos hurts to play against
