I'm looking to do two things at once:
1. Setup a Necromunda gang
2. Setup a squad of hardened veterans for my Guardsmen
Which Necro gang would look best alongside my army (mostly plastic Cadians, a few catachan plastic bits, some conversions from metal models)? I'm thinking Orlocks (now that they dumped that "sweat rag" they had during the first release of Necro) or maybe Van Saars. The Enforcers would be an obvious choice, but I'd like to go for a little more creative choice. Any ideas?
I'm glad to see that Necro was re-released, I wonder if they will ever synchronize the Necro rules with the current edition of 40k (I'm not saying it would be a GOOD idea, mind you, just an interesting one )
i personally think that the orlock gang would look good along the imperiel guard, i think they would look better than van sar or enforcers, they are the most similar to IG
Quote of the week: "dude, for a whole hour, i would fall asleep!"
They won't ever syncronise the rules, as the reason 40k was changed from 2nd ed was for massed army combat. If the games were small it'd have exactly the same basic structure as Necromunda.
And what kind of Imperial Guard are you looking for? They come from everywhere, although the one that immediately springs to mind when you say Cadians is Van Saar, as they have similar body armour.
Goliaths would make cool penal troops though...
make a gang and just give them a PDF deserters background.
would you like a complementary broadsword with your chainmail bikini?
