after posting some topics and replies in this forum I noticed I need to re-read the ruleook.
However, I have got some doubts about the effect special orders have on ships weaponry.
The question is:
are launching bays capacity and torpedo salvos strength halved by special order such as "come to new heading" and/or a cripple condition?
"It fits like clothes made out of wasps!"
All my played games were wrong .
The special orders summary on page 12 specifically states that the ordnance launching capacity is not affected by special orders other than BFI. I'm not sure if this hasn't been changed since then though, but i cannot recall any changes to this.

so when you read a rule book take everything into account even the tiny boxes that dont seem important
