    Tyranids 1500 Resilient Fleet

    Hey, here's my latest fleet (converted out of nid bitz, I'll upload photos once the fleet's done). The plan is to close in and bombard the enemy with WBs then finally boarding them to death, hopefully with enough ordnance to stave off major ordnance waves. Anyway, enough rambling, the fleet.

    Hmmm... I haven't really played BFG yet (just looked at the rules), but you become crippled at half hits, right? In that case it may be a good idea to remove one hit from the big hive ship and give it to the smaller one so the smaller one can lose one more hit before becoming crippled and the large hive ship is unaffected as far as being crippled goes. You could also drop one of the 30pt krakens to give one of the Cruisers +1 hit and the other +2 hit, or keep the big hive ship at +4 hits and use the 30pts to give each cruiser and the smaller hive ship each +1 hit. Due to the way crippling affects nids, I'd say to always try to have an odd number of hits to maximize the number of hits you can take before being crippled while minimizing the costs.

    But then again, I haven't really played a game so don't take my word for it. It does seem to make sense, though. Whether the big hive ship has 13 or 14 hits it still loses all its carrier abilities after 7 damage so you might as well give a cruiser or the other hive ship the extra hit so they can take another hit before getting crippled.
