Hi i've just been having a look through the imperial fleets pdf and like the look of the Armageddon class battlecruiser. However it seems the only way to incorporate one into my current fleet (which includes a Dominator) is by using something called the reserves rule, which i cannot for the life of me find in any of the pdfs. If anyone could point me towards a page number or give a summary i would be very grateful.
I'm going to bump this because I'm having the same problem. Anyone know how reserves work or where to find the rules?

Hi guys, sorry it took so long to reply.
Basically, reserves rules aren't fixed. You'll find scenario-specific rules for reserves in the rules for each scenario. If you want to just play a regular game with reserves, I'd reccomend using the 40k rules - roll a d6 at the beginning of your turn, you need a 6 on turn 2, 5 on 3, 4 on 4, etc. You roll for each ship or squadron. Hope that helps.
There are a few pages from Armada that are not available in the pdf's. These have the reserve rules, strategy ratings.
Now reserve rule:
you have a battlefleet Armageddon list as a base. This list does not feature Dominators.
Now if I want a Dominator I need 3 cruisers from the Armageddon list to take 1 cruiser from the Gothic list.
You need cruisers for cruisers, battleships for battleship, etc
If you d/l the Ships of Mars pdf it also details some reserve questions.
Here's a link to a post with a pdf with the reserve rules.

Ah that makes sense, thank you for your responses
