Be nice do them cheap deal
Evil! cut them to bits!
Somewhere in middle
depends on situation mainly
Brake the rules! anything goes in negotiation
Hey wondering how people deal with captured gangers, are you nice and do good deals are you evil and cut them up? Or somewhere in middle? Also do you follow the rules in the rule book or do you in negotiations make slight rule braking negotiations as long as the opponent agrees. This last one could be something like sellign ganger back at cheap price
but you keep equipment.
Personally im evil and get every penny i cna off them or cut them up! I use stealth skills and get as many gangers escape artist or give them the knife.
Anyways its a pole lets see what people think!

Firstly, I NEVER buy the escape knife as there's a chance of dying and that means I can't even negotiate.
If I captured them, I'll see how good they and their equipment are. We tend to allow deals, rather than insisting they get returned with all their equipment. However if I've got a mine then I never trade, I'd rather keep the slave working for me down t'pit
Also, if the opponent can't or won't deal then you should have a chance at a rescue mission before they get a chance to kill them off.
It seems I have 2 options initiate the prisoner in my army or burn him so I hope I capture a lot of guys should be some really annoying stuff for my fellow players.
TO THE STAKES!!

lol should of known with your Redemptionists
Finally figure out how to model my gang decided to use the Dark Elf warriors( Juves, Zeolots and Crusaders)and a Empire Mage kit (Priest and the rest of the gang). Will become more of a death cult then a redemptionist inquisitor style thing (moustly because of the models) But I think it will still be pretty cool
I've only ever captured 1 guy, my opponents heavy bolter guy, sadly though he also captured my leader in that game so we had to trade them back . That added to the fact i've had to buy 3 guys back (well 1 juve and my heavy bolter guy twice!!!) capturing hasn't exactly gone my way. My juve I got back for very cheap, admittedly though I should have let my friend sell hi to slavery but i'm not that kind of leader.
My heavy I had to pay a ton to get him back, the first time it was like 150 creds, some other equipment with a value of like 50 creds, and my opponent could keep his lasgun. The second time it was my carapace armour 115 credits, a converted model of a scum, and the next thing I invent.
So yeah I've had a fair amount of credits 2 times, my leftover starting creds + earnings from after about 2 games, I had to use that to get my heavy back. The second time I had like 135 so I bought myself a heavy with a lasgun, after earning 65 after the game my other heavy got captured.

Damm you had some seriously unlucky captures mate!
loosing so much creds is a pain for each gang I guess. hope the future treats you beter.
Yer sounds quite bad. My mate had a bad one against me when in a game after spending a load on his leader i got off a lucky lasgun shot and captured him. Lets say he got the guy back in a form (stole his stuff lol) then next game he got killed anyway!
I used to dread capturing people, rescue missions can be really annoying (with Spyrers its a horrible role reversal, not to mention even if you win at best its an opportunity to model some interesting suit ornaments and trophies.) On the other hand, you aren't allowed to attempt rescue missions (you're not down there to nanny each other) so it's the worst of both worlds. ;P
I loved my Spyrers, but that was one of the more frustrating things about them.
