    Fleet list up for input

Hey all. Just finished deciding on my BFG fleet. Hopefully liked here goes!

Segmentum Solar, Armageddon Sector Fleet List

    Fleet Admiral - 50
    2x Dictator Cruisers - 440
    2x Armageddon BattleCruisers - 490
    Total - 980

    To upgrade from there......

Master of the fleet - 50
Re Roll for the Fleet Admiral x1 - 25
    Space Marine Battlebarge - 425
    Total - 1480

So there you go. Only thing I'm worried of is it being too top heavy. Still all CC is welcome

    It's Armageddon BC, Apolypse = battleship. Plus it s 245 not 290...

5 ships ain't much! Quite elite. Hordes may overwhelm you.

Woops! Yhea not a clue where I got 290 pts from..... Also need to brush up on my reading >_< +rep for correcting my botched jub

    So its 440 + 490 + 50 = 980.

Yhea it is small but it is meant to be for a Grey Knight army counterpart so I thought it reflected that well.

Do small fleets tend to do bad? Any advise for changes?

    Hmmm...

Personally I like your Elite fleet, yet as already stated against hordes, such as the orks who I presume you would be fighting considering you made an Armageddon list, your list is lacking in escorts to act as slag and allow your more important ships to focus on the priority targets throughout the game. As I do not play BFG my opinion does not have much weight, though I'm interested in starting a space marine fleet to coincide with my ideas for a campaign. Still I read
threads in this forum quite often so I have a limited knowledge when it comes to lists.

From what I know the strength of the Imperial Navy comes from its cruisers, thus your choices are soundless, while a space marine battle barge can easily hold its own, I suspect that you will need to keep your forces clustered or at least in a cohesive formation. A warning though that with only five ships you are going to have to be very mindful to overlap your field of fire between ships to get the most effect out of them.

Congrats on your list, and may you crush thy foes under the might of the Emperors most Holy Fleet.

Indeed, keep close together with Barge as centre point. Orks will have a difficult time though. Launching 8 waves from Dictators + 3 t-hawks from Barge will keep his Terrors busy.
Eldar Corsairs will be a nightmare for your fleet once they get behind you. Use your Armageddons and Barge wisely in that case to deny Eldar as much space as possible.
Chaos will, as always, be hard. Their longer ranged weapons and lances won't blink at 6+ armour or 6+prow.
