Welcome to Librarium Online!
I dont play the game and no store actually carries it. I was wondering do the different gangs have special rules and if they do can you give me a short list of what they can get and there general theme? Just wondering.

Man this game is a blast, each of your gang member gets a life of his own after just a few games. There are about six or so gang types, not including Outlanders, which are "outlaw" gangs, as if that makes sense! I don't own the current edition of the game, but you can go on the GW website and get lots of details about it. It describes the major "Houses" of the Underhive which characterize the different gangs--for instance House Escher is dominated by women because the males suffer from a genetic flaw and are all puny, good for nothing but breeding. Thus, and Escher gang is all chicks (good looking models, too) and their skills run towards agility and such, as opposed to brute strength, which would characterize House Goliath (need I say more about Goliaths?).
Anyway, hope this helps. I highly recommend the game because you can set up and play a few games in the space of an hour or two; there aren't a lot of models to have to paint; the terrain and materials are compact; and it can be played in a small area, so you don't need a large games table.
Maybe it's time for the Cody Powers Gang to pay a little visit to Texas Pete and his Space Cowboys! heh heh...
Purge all the heretics,
Kill the alien scum,
Suffer not the unclean to live,
And have a beer when you're done.
there are six 'house' gangs, which are some of the upper-class families of necromunda. those are the Escher, Goliath, Orlock, Cawdor, Van Sarr, and Dalaque. The way the old version worked (i don't have the new rules yet) was that these gangs pretty much all have the same rules, but have access to different ability charts they can roll on (or are more likely to roll on certain ability charts than others).
The Outlaw gangs get special rules, these are Scaavy, Ratskins, Redemptionists, pit slaves, etc. They don't generate as much income as the house gangs do but have access to some kick-butt special rules.
I have no idea about the Arbites, sorry.
