A few lists to look at

Howdy all. Just finishing off my 1000pt IN fleet and would like to expand out into a few other fleets for not just mysefl but in case noone else brings a fleet or for any newbies to tempt them into a game. All lists will start at 1000pts but I'll then get them up to 1500pts for a healthy sized fleet

As such these list arn't really trying to be the best lists ever but still be fun to play. I'm just looking for conformation before going out and getting the models.

    IN
    2 x Lunars - 360pts
    2 x Dictators - 440pts
    5 x Cobras - 150pts
    Fleet admiral - 50pts (Dictators)
    Total - 1000pts
Like I said up top, this fleet is already bought but can be changed thanks to the power of magnets apart from the cobras of course.
    Retribution - 365pts
    3 x Firestorms - 120pts
    Total - 1485pts
A solid enough fleet with a bit of everything for beginners...... I hope.

    Space Mariens
    Battlebarge - 425pts
    2 x Strike cruisers - 290pts
    2 x Novas - 100pts
    3 x Gladius - 135pts
Master of the fleet - 50pts (Blattle Barge)
    Total - 1000pts
This I think is about as good as I can do but I still thin its the weakest list I've made. Pointers please.
    2 x Strike cruisers - 290pts
    3 x Gladius - 135pts
    Nova - 50pts
    Total - 1475pts
Way off 1500pts but can't remember if the SM re roll is 25 or 50pts??? Help! I do want to make a SM list even if it is rubbish.

    Eldar
    Eclipse - 250pts
    3 x Solaris - 390pts
    3 x Nightshades - 120pts
    3 x Nightshades - 120pts
    Pirate prince - 100pts (Eclipse)
    Total - 980pts
Some might argue the Solaris but I think they're ok. Again, trying to go for a bit of everything rarther than 1000pts of Nightshades and Helmlocks! You know who you are!
    Void Stalker - 380pts
    Solaries - 130pts
    Total - 1490pts
Heh, just thought that I might have spelt Solries wrong hmm, cant remember! At 1500pts the 4 Solars split up into 2 squads of 2. Shout at me if you think more Escorts are the way forward.

    Chaos
    Repulsive - 230pts
    2 x Devastations - 380pts
    2 x Murders - 340pts
    Chaos Warmaster - 50pts (Devastations)
    Total - 1000pts
In all honesty I think this and its 1500pt counterpart is the meanest fleet I've come up with. Its just hard if you know what I mean.
    Desolator - 300pts
    4 x Idolators - 180pts
    Total - 1480pts
I really can't find any faults but please point out if you can.

Phew! Thats all folks. Please help by pointing out any changes you can think of or just general tips. If alls well I'll start the second fleet to join my IN next week

    PL

for the marine fleet i would recomend hunters there like cobras only 10pts more, carry bording torps, have a 5+ armour and go at 35cm, and ditch the novas unless ure getting the forge world modles which are so unbelivably prity, but yeah gladuses and hunters are much better choices

at 1500pts i would realy recomend an admril [ld 9] for your IN though otherwise noyhing roung with that fleet

Thank n ye for the speedy reply.

Yhea I did look at the hunters but thought SM could use some lances. Mind you more Gladuses means my loverly bombardment cannons hit home instead of bouncing of sheilds. Didn't know Hunters had bording torps... hmm shall changen them around.

Suppose the ld9 would be quite handy just to make sure my fighters, bombers and torps get off ok. I'll have a looksee into moving stuff around.

Thanks again and if anyone else has anything then please fire away. (pun intended)

Imperial Navy: you are going to miss a re-roll. Otherwise I think the fleet is good enough. Squadron the Lunars or take Dominator/Gothic instead.

Eldar: you'll be eaten. yes Hemlocks/Nightshades are best but I would also recommend Aconites over Solaris. 4 Solaris is too much. If you want that FW order make that a pack of Aurora and a pack of Solaris.

Chaos: Carnages have better synergy with Devastations then Murders so change them to get even 1500pts.
