My mate and I have been discussing doing an 'Advanced' version of Necromunda but I found that Inquisitor could work with some tweaking/omissions/additions.
Has anyone else done something similar?

This is generally already played and is known as something called 28mm inquisitor.
Indeed but reading through the system, it would lend itself to a more advanced Necromunda playstyle with greater detail for those who want such.
I dont think you understand me. Inquisitor is already played at 28mm scale, its called 28mm inquisitor. All you want to do is instead of using inquisitors and such is use Necromunda gangs. I think this could be a cool idea however be ready to play very long games, due to the rules of inquisitor been complicated it takes time to play and most would only use gangs of 3 models using a gang of about 10 gangers would take all day.
