Just wondering, is it worth getting a hard copy of the BFG rulebook? The 2010 faq mentions that the electronic version is more up to date than the paper one, so some rules inaccuracies might still be present. Has the hard copy not been updated at any point? If not, are the rules differences going to be too severe? I imagine I'd find playing with a hard copy easier than having a laptop sitting by the table, but if there are rules issues then it's a no go.
I was actually thinking of copy/pasting the text from the rulebook into a fresh document and incorporating the 2010 FAQ changes manually for a single completely up to date reference book which I could print out and bind myself. Unfortunately, the rulebooks are all releases as images rather than text, which means I can't directly copy/paste it. If anyone knows of a pure text version of the rulebook it should be pretty quick to do.
The pdf's at the GW website are the harcopy v1.5. So you can d/l them for free.
yes there is. The rulebook in the GW online shop is the v1.5 is the hardcopy is the pdf's on the GW website.
Consider a print shop (or work printer, maybe school if you have access to it). Print shops will not only help you DOUBLE side and make it more like a book, they can arrange the files and bind it too if that's a concern. I printed double sided and put it in a binder for myself. Did the arranging, they just help me setup the printer...$10...easy. All the PDF's, fleets, faqs, etc.

The real problem with getting a hard copy is it doesn't include armada, which is a nightmare to get hold of (£30+ on ebay normally)
I would be a print all the way man, but got hold of a printed epic rulebook and it is SO much nicer than the A4 pages... It depends on your finances for that nice touch and easy reading, but each to their own. Binding my A4 BFG is being contemplated

Armada has just been removed last year as a hardcopy. But pdf's available.
