Welcome to Librarium Online!
Does anyone know of a great glue (I'm talking, super heavy-duty super glue that not even God himself could force apart) or any other options other than pinning to keep heavy model pieces attached to the main body of the ships?
Specifically, the Eldar are giving me problems. I've had a few "fins" break off, and pinning can work, but I was wondering if there's anything else someone uses regularly that keeps your ships intact and in the fight. I mean, pinning an Eclipse class cruiser is one thing, but I don't like when the fins on my Nightshades fall off --- pinning them would be a real headache.
All suggestions are welcome.
Use Epoxy. The stuff where you have two seperate tubes, and you mix equal amount of both and apply. I use that for my 40K Daemonhunters army (it's all metal with all kinds of spiky bitz). When that stuff dries, it's harder that the actual metal around it. Just don't apply a lot, or the bitz'll only be touching glue, which makes the joint weaker. If you pin, then use epoxy instead of super glue, you could probably hurl the model at the wall and the wall'd be the first to break ^_^
Cool beans. Thanks for the suggestion.
Any particular brand recommended, or will any over the counter Hardware store epoxy do?
I *think* they're all the same, but if you have doubts, just ask someone who's working which one's best!
