Welcome to Librarium Online!
why do you use the big figures for Inquisitor? when me and my friends play we use 40k models and inches. that way, we don't have to spend the bajillion dollars (an exaggeration) on the large scale models.
also, what kind of distance measurements do you guys use (i.e., feet, yards, meters, etc.)?

There's nothing quite as fun as seeing a Chaos Lord overdose on combat drugs two inches away from an assault...

the big models are so you get the feeling of scale. i have tried using 40k models and all you do is half the ranges.
it is measured in inches but for fluff it is called a yard.
the big models are cool. and since you only need less than 8 or 9 (for warband combos not at same time) you are only spending like half the money of a good 40k army (like 2000pts)
it is a good price for an entirely new game and if you want a 40k skirmish match play necromunda.
actually i am thinking of converting a squad that can act in many ways...
1) a vet squad in my IG army.
2) my necromunda gang (not sure how easy that one will be)
3) my kill team
and i may add "my 40k scale inquisitor warband" but it would only be like half the squad.

In most tabletop wargames, the size of the models relates directly to the size of battles you'll be fighting. Games like Warmaster and Epic have tiny models because it'd be ridiculous to attempt to field a force that large with 40k scale models, the opposite goes for Inquisitor models: the models are larger because the skirmishes you'll be enacting are very small, and large model size helps add to the character of the game as you play and to the narrative nature of Inquisitor itself.

The best part about using small models is that you don't have to make inquisitor sized terrain, you can simply use some W40k terrain.
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
Aw dont say that, I was looking forward to making =I= scale terrain...
