Great stuff mate. Much better painted than they were before It looks like a good starting point for a fleet as any A couple more cruisers and you've got 1000pts, add a Battleship and that's 1500pts.

Then you just need an opponent!

I'll probably start on the two Slaughters next to be old imperial cruisers

    I WANT A NEMESIS!!!!
Or just a Grand Cruiser will do. At least they maneuver better than a brick haha. An Exorcist or Executor would be my preferred choice

Sounds good. If you use the Bakka Fleet list you could make them as Cardinal class Battlecruisers. Or maybe convert the prows to be more 'armoured' and use them as counts-as normal Navy ships.

A Nemesis is pretty awesome but I think you have to reserve it into your fleet........ which means you have to have THREE battleships already to take one 0.o. An Annihilator has almost as many launch bays, is 100pts cheaper and is just a grand cruiser. It has no guns though The Exorcist is a great ship. With sensors it works as a nice flagship if you don't have the points for a Battleship. I used one as my flagship for a fair few games and was never disappointing with it.

Executor and Avenger match up. Yeah, that's a good squadron I really like the Chaos only (damn them! My Imperials want one!!) Retaliator.

Aye, opponents aren't easy to find for specialist games but there's a few kicking about. You can also go to the 'Specialist Arms' Forum which has a bit more footfall than this place. You might be able to find someone nearby for a game.

I'm just gonna say anything chaos only was..."found" spat out by the warp or derelict in space.
I care more for looking good than anything rules related haha

Comng along nicely. They look more like Mechanicus cruisers to me. They are a very similar shape to them for a start and the sleek, high tech look makes them look like a flash back to the DAoT. Seeing them next to GW mini's I may pick some up for myself now. They're just the right size for Mechanicum cruisers and light cruisers.
