I am not from anywhere remotely near there but I can tell you that GW has a good selection on the online store. Probably your best bet unless you can find a local retailer.

    Living Rulebook

The GW forums site has the complete rulebook and the updates for download. And yes, it is also on the U.S. site as well as the U.K. site.

Hey Ace, I've been living in Canberra a few years now and you can't buy Necromunda anywhere. I don't think GW stores even sell it any more, you have to order it online or get the GW store to get it for you. It's not a Canberra problem, AFAIK GW has given Necromunda the arse. If you want it you have to find it yourself. You know about GW in Woden right?

Also you might try Alice's Bookshop. They sometimes sell 2nd hand and rare GW stuff as well as awesome books and other games.

*Psst- Come to the ANU Wargame Society tournament in September. PM me for details it will be awesome*

We are having a necromunda campaign on right now in canberra, and I'm wondering if I know you somehow? Robotnik and I are playing anyway (you are still playing yeah jimmy?). As for models, we split a box of catachans, just do the same.

If you want to do a Van Saar gang Cadians are perfect. For cowdor deathcorps or armogedon. Echer your out of luck. Goliath and orlock are the ones for the Catachans.
    Hope thet helps.

Yeah I'm still playing, taking a break for the holidays this weekend, then I'll be back. I think my Orks need to try their luck against Jeff's Eldar...

But yeah, what they said. Proxy. With plastics and other figs you can make cool gangs. My Delaque Leader is the Kasrkin sergeant model chopped a bit (eg no backpack)

Good to know people still paly it, it sounds really cool from what i've read of the rules and i'm 98% sure GW in canberra doesn't sell them, they don't sell many specialist games at all.

Most GW stores don't sell any specilist models, because of space constrants. What they tend to do around these parts is focus on one specilist game for a few months, sell the box and a few models and then go onto another box set.
