I love the tyranids in 40K and was thinking of making a BFG tyranid army. But looking at the list they look really weak unless they can get into boarding actions. Their long range guns are 45cm compared to Chaos 60cm. Also thier big ships only move at 15cm unmodified and 20cm with an upgrade so it seems to me they would get shotup at long range since it will take them so long to close.
Is this the case or am I missing something. Any BFG Tyranid Pro's out there that want to give their opinion of this fleet?
Having not seen the stats, I really couldnt say about Tyranid fleets, however I would suspect that the fleet is reasonably in keeping with the Tyranid ethos.
Chaos have their weaknesses too, you know. Just because they have long range doesnt mean they are invulnerable.
"It fits like clothes made out of wasps!"
Hmm and what about in the W40k the same problems the lists of Tyranids is small comparing with chaos , eldar ,SM , IG. Bat still Tyranids are going well , anyway idont now nothing about bfg bat i thing there is no problem casue of the "small quantity of models" e?
MEAT IS MURDER
Ive just started playing Tyranids, they are pretty decent, there's a restriction on the big ships because the fleet is meant to be made up of mostly escorts, ive played a game against my friends imperial fleet, it came down to one of my cruisers agianst one of his so he rammed me but i survived
anyway I like them, they maye take along time to close but once they are there they kick anyone ass
