Has anyone played Epic Armaggedon? and if so, is it any good? are there any major changes, or cool things about it? and onto the tau, where do you find rules for them? also if anyone has played them, do they have any advice, tips, or things in general to say about them? thanks in advance for any help!
There are experimental rules for them on Specialist Games's Epic site. They seem quite good and characterful, although I haven't played with them. If I had my druthers I'd own a Tau army, but the Forgeworld models are a tad expensive and I only know of one opponent I would ever be able to play with. We're talking about demoing with card proxies though to decide if we want to get into it. IMHO, out of all Games Workshop games, Epic has the best rules.
epic does have a fantastic gaming system though its fiddly
