Ok, here´s a list I made for the Corsairs. Give me your opinion.
Aurora light crusier.
- Pirate Prince. 100pts
Hemlock Destroyers x 2
1 squad of 3, 1 squad of 5.
Nightshade Destroyer squadron x 2
Doe's and dont's.
Crusiers: To exspesnive for such a small game.
Hellbores and Aconites: Same as for crusiers, to darn exspesnive for small games (especialy the Aconite. 65 points for a weapon battery escort!).
Solaris light crusier: Worst ship in the fleet.
Hemlocks and Nightshades. Cheap (for an Eldar) and with some impressive firepower.
Torpedos! 7 ships capable of launching torps.
Pulsars. Lots of 'em! 9 Pulsar-batteries. Who says no to that?
Aurora. Cheap and really good.
My tactic plans to be (basic now) to dart in, deploy massed ordnance and dart out. With the Pulsars ability to do several hits I can destroy escort sqauds with single salvoes and cripple a crusier each turn. Keep out of the biggest weapon batteries and I will be fine.

Sounds like a good list, but I don't know much about eldar, I have only played a few games with them. But my list was:
2 x Shadpw cruiser
1x Eclipse with priate prince
1x Hemlock squad
1x Nightshade squad
1x Aconite Squad
I wondered why the eldar player always got slaughtered. I'm guessing that list wasn't very good! Well, the minis are still in the Falkland Islands so there's nothing I can do about it now .
I can say that the player was slaughtered becuase he had to many crusiers. Max is two normal crusiers in 1500. Standard is 1 Crusier and 1 light crusier. Eldar need to foucs on Escorts becuase that is were their strenghts lie.
With 15 escorts and 1 light crusier in 800pts I have a strong core and can outnumber many fleets as well.
Yeah that sounds good. Go for 1 Nightshade squad and 1 Hemlock squad.
Yeah that is why they are kind of unbalanced. Lots of terrain = Eldar are unbeatable. Little terrain = extreme tactics needed or you will be slaughtered. Most of the time you get slaughtered.
The best way is probably to agree with you opponent to use moderate terrain so none gain the advantage.
