I recently found all my old Tau gothic ships. The problem I encountered was, do Tau cruisers , i.e. merchant and hero class, use large or small bases? I didn't find any bases with them so counting wouldn't work. I'm in a bit of hard place here. Any help would be appreciated
As far as I'm aware, only Battleships use large bases, while everything else uses small bases.
Thanks, I haven't played gothic in ages and all the rules seem to have left my head.
So long as it has a base then I don't see why it matters- the only time that you use the base to see where the ship is is with the nova cannon- everything else measures from the flying pole in the centre. This only really applies to the core games- someone was ranting about how since a Lord of Change only stands on one foot you could put it on a 40mm base rather than those huge flat ones to stop more morels getting into combat with it. But not with BFG.
