Welcome to Librarium Online!
i have just been looking at through some pages on the net and a lot of sights use snipers on characters but i cant find anything in the rule book about them could anyone help me with this problem please a link to the rules for them or a page where the rules are on or some clarification which weapon they mean
thank you in advance
Are you asking about rules for a sniper rifle? If so, well, check out the Hunting Rifle. Does reasonable damage, and has decent accuracy at range. If you add a few gunsights and give your character Deadeye Shot you've got a pretty dangerous sniper, especially if the target isn't armoured. Or, if you want to get really deadly, just use a straight-mag boltgun. Ouch!
(I got a bit off track, but my point is that the Hunting Rifle is basically a sniper rifle, just under a different name).
There isn't a straight-up "sniper rifle" in the armoury, but there are plenty of guns that work well at long ranges (and usually, poorly at close ranges). Anything with a range value of G, H, or I and a mode of Single is what you're looking for here: Long Rifle, Lascannon, Hunting Rifle, Needle Rifle are the ones that fit. And the Lascannon, obviously, isn't a sniper rifle-esque item. But those other three (las, solid, and exotic weapons, respectively) are perfect for the task. Add some appropriate scopes and you're all set.
If all else fails, just use one of the above weapon types as an example and build your own. Inquisitor is a game not about winning with overpowered weaponry but about making a cool warband and having fun with the story, so don't just take a lascannon as your base weapon ^^
i dont plan on having any heavy weapons in my warband if i can help it, thanks for the help. ill post my warband up as soon as i get time but might be after ive done my GCSE's so aroung end of june start of july any help/tips for a first time inquistitor player will be apreciated.
