Keeping in mind that I'm fairly new too....
I'd maybe think about having at least one Dictator class with the new cruisers you'll be getting.
I know you've got the Mars, and the Emperor class Battleships going to have launch bays too, but a third ship that can launch fighter/bomber squadrons would be good.
I mean if your getting 4 new cruisers, theres no reason why one couldn't be a Dictator class.

Hey Brother Dobbo, nice to see you taking an interest in BFG!
Firstly, although I am not a moderator, may I suggest that you spend time properly punctuating spell checking your posts. It doesn't bother me very much, but some other people on LO do not take kindly to posts that are difficult to read. Take a bit more care in the future mate
About your question:
You first 4 cruiser choices are very good. They provide you will an excellently balanced fleet that could take on most comers - good job! The next four cruisers are largely up to you - build what you like!
I can see form the starter set you will be getting an Emperor Class Battleship. When combined with your Mars, this will give you plenty of attack craft, so I wouldn't bother with any more carriers just yet. Here is what I would do:
- I think you should make one of the new cruisers a Lunar. These guys work well in pairs, but it will also nicely compliment your Gothic.
- A Dominator would be a good investment as it would add to your nova cannon total and give you some serious firepower to play with.
- Another Tyrant would be good, as the long range batteries these guys possess are essential when fighting the Eldar.
- An Overlord would add a very useful amount of long-ranged weapons batteries that would be useful against almost anything, but especially against the Eldar!
As you can see, my suggestions focus mainly on direct-fire as I believe you have enough launch bays in you fleet with the Mars and the Emperor. However, as BFG is more about how you use the fleet (as opposed to what you take) I would strongly encourage you to take what you think looks and feels best.
I hope this helps you mate. Other may disagree, so wait to hear what they say before deciding. Good luck with the fleet!
I've had some more thoughts on your fleet.
After you have built and painted the set you are about to get you will have a pretty large fleet. You will have 8 cruisers, I don't see you using more than 8 cruisers in any one game, so any more you buy will be to give yourself some choice when it comes to tailoring your fleet to specific enemies and situations. I would add another two cruisers to your list, taking your total up to ten - one Dictator and another cruiser of your choice (maybe a lunar with a nova cannon)
The reason you should take a Dictator is that they are very useful in the convoy raid scenario. In this scenario a Mars class is too expensive, but a dictator is spot on. Trust me, as a defender in a convoy raid you will need fighters (WILL NEED FIGHTERS!!!), hence a Dictator is always a useful add on to an Imperial fleet. If you don't want to spend more money on cruisers than I suggest you change one of my earlier suggestions to a Dictator.
Another addition to the fleet should be escorts. The starter set gives you a rather small number of escorts to play with; a fleet of the size you are collecting is going to need more.
