Welcome to Librarium Online!
One of the biggest problems with playing INQ is finding other players. Often you have to make do with playing the same one or two people over and over again. Maybe there's a brief spate of INQ in the local club, but pretty soon it dies off.
However, if you are in the UK, help is at hand!
The members of Exterminatus.net and The Conclave have, for the last two years, been organizing biannual gatherings at Warhammer World in Nottingham. Using the fabulous tables and exclusive Inquisitor-scale terrain, players can participate in games that will be talked about for months or even years!
The next Meet-Up is planned for Saturday 9th December. Doors open at 10AM and play will continue through to 4PM (or later, if they'll let us!). In addition, some hardcore players (or people with too much money and time for their own good) will be staying over to play again on Sunday 10th.
PM me if you're interested.
Scarey! PO bouncing around LO! Hi mate!
Unfortunatley I am not available but I would encourage others to go
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Hell yeah, I'm in. I sent you a PM.
All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
We've gone firm on 9 Dec and numbers are starting to rack up. There will be a limit to the number of tables we can book at the last minute, so if you want a game let me know ASAP (thanks Anacron - you've been included on the list).
Requirements for those attending are:
1. At least one painted 54mm model suitable for playing INQ.
2. A character sheet for all models.
3. A sense of humour.
Well, it was a great day! We had a turnout of 10, which was a little fewer than hoped for but perfectly acceptable, and just meant going down from four tables to three. I hope that next time, we'll manage an even better turnout.
I have a vision of WHW filled with INQ players, as far as the eye can see!!
The day was run as a tournament, with participants being marked on their ability as players (by the GM), as GMs (by the players), as all-round 40k know-it-alls (by me!) and as painters/modellers by the WHW staff (huge thanks to Simon and his crew!).
It was great to welcome Anacron from LO, who had his first taster of being a GM (he was not alone!). And I think that, all-in-all the day was an enormous success.
The winner was Inq "Tim" Ishigiru from the Conclave, who has now been named the Inquisitor Lord of the Ordos Terran by the Conclave's Hidden Masters. Tim was a clear winner and a very worthy one, with a strong showing in every category and the highest marks by far in Explication.
