For those of you who use models instead of just tokens to represent the ordnance you are using, how do you have it set up? It seems a bit big to use one base per fighter... and if you arn't using forgeworld model, you won't have a set base.
I'm thinking to put three bombers on one base, and a fighter on a base (since I won't need to deploy more than one at a time?)
I use FW models on WFB small bases which are about the same size as the markers that came with the BFG game.

Whilst I usually just use the cardboard markers, I have a few metal attack craft in my collection. Like mastershake said, WHFB bases are good as they are about the right shape and size. I would use 3-4 of the metal/resin attack craft per base, and make as many as you want. You can then use the epic bases the metal attack craft come with to mount torpedoes (they would need some work to make the bases the right size for different size torpedo salvoes).
I just use card markers right now, but I like Rich's ideas for ordnace bases, I'll do somthing like that for Thunderhawks which I should get for my Battle Barge. And if I get some metal fighters and bombers for my Imp. Fleet.

I just stuck my Fighters, Bomber and stuff to bits of think card
I also tried the epic bases but I don't have many spears

With the torpedoes I tried using round toothpicks (cocktail sticks) trimmed to size and having them held up by pins but that didn't work to good thought
