Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hello, I am recently new to this site and to the epic game. I have not yet purchased an army but i was thinking of imperial guard for an army. The other thing I was wondering was if I can use titans with the imperial guard (such as deploy a reaver titan and Shadowsword Titan Hunter hypothetically). If this is true than I'm fine, but if its not im going to have to reconfigure my whole idea for an army. Also anyone know where you can find any imperator titan models, I can't seem to find any.
Hello and welcome to LO!
My advise to you would be to try the specialist games forums off the GW main site. And also get a copy of the rules
I'm not 100% sure of the imperial guard army list, but I'm sure you can get titans.
As for the models, I'm pretty sure you have to mail order them from a GW.. but otherwise Ebay is your best friend.

The rules are free, but collecting an army isn't. A lot of the foot troops from the old plastic set should be available on Ebay. Don't worry that it's the "old" set, the mini's were excellent even though I never could get enough Ogryns to whet my bloodlust.
Hi! I am a long time Epic guard player, so maybe I can help you. On the SG website: www.specialist-games.com you will find the full rules for Epic as downloadable PDF's. You can field up to a third of your total points as titans if you want, and the army list is so flexible you can even field the rest of the points as super-heavy tanks. Forge World are the best supplier of Epic scale figs, with the exception of non-Tau infantry, so have a look there if you like. And lastly, Imperators aren't official anymore, aren't produced by GW, but ARE available on Ebay for ludicrous prices.
Hope that helps!
Hey I'm gonna start epic as well following y uncle giving me a 1980s warhound titan so can space marines have titans in their army?? maybe even as an allied force.
- The home of witty tabletop banter
There are really no 'allied forces' per se in epic (each list is defined better by the things it can't do), but the imperial navy/titanicus (all the IGs and SMs can get flyers and titans from them - from the common list, usually... it's specified in each army list, anyway).
So marines can use titans (and actually the ones that win the most tend to have 1-2 warhounds), but (in the tourneament scenario, at least) you can't mix IG and SMs.
I hope that helps...
For completeness, here's a link to the rules from the ERC:

That community worked with the Epic creator, until support was cut, and then they kept at it... those rules might just be worth something.
