Good day, I am new to Mordheimm but our gaming club started a campaign playing it so I want to get on board;
Since I am Russian myself I have decided that Kislevites would be a very fluffy army to play for me.
If you could please look at this list and tell me what you think;
Ancestral Brace of Dueling Pistols, Sword, Shield;
Young bloods x2
/500 points / 4 heroes, 5 henchmen
Nothing wrong with that list in my eyes, only a few minor points:
Handguns: well, OK for fluff reasons. Though it remains to be seen whether the extra +1 to hit is worth the comparatively high cost.
(though I don't have experience with either Kislevites or Handguns in Mortheim)
Swords for the warriors: I guess again for the fluff, but rather expensive for regular warriors.
And a helmet for at least your captain wouldn't hurt either.
It ain't easy bein' green... :-)
Personally I have found that hammers and clubs to be the better weapon in Mordheim. The increased chance to stun your opponent I feel is better than the parry ability that come with swords.
I agree about the pistols. They're good, expensive but when most things have T3 to start and little armour, I feel them to be a waste. I'd prefer a bow, so you can move and shoot or a crossbow for wounding.
